Boys' Basketball District Champs

The boys basketball team won the 18th District Championship in Coach O'Connell's 39-year career by beating Saint John Paul on February 10. The victory was secured by a score of 78-68, with Brooklyn Vick ('24) leading the way with a season-high 37 points. Vick also contributed with 7 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals in the game.

Following their title win, the team played a Regional Quarterfinal match against University School on February 15 and won 54-53. Alex Montes ('25) played a key role in controlling the game with 14 points and 14 rebounds. Brooklyn Vick was the top scorer with 17 points, while Diego Rojas-Bowe ('25) scored the go-ahead basket with 10 seconds left in the game.

The team is now set to play the Regional Semifinal game on Tuesday, February 20. The #4 seed Scots will be traveling to face the #1 seed Westminster Academy.
